Overview

A single dispute is defined as involving the same parties and the same child or children. There may be more than one area of disagreement, but it is still considered to be the same dispute if the same parties and children are involved.

Parties can have more than one dispute if either:

• they have a dispute about the same children but with different parties
• they have a dispute about different children and with different parties.
